Now with the new ITX standard and the ion chipset you are able to get playable frame rates on some popular games like Counter Strike and Team Fortress 2, which for its size is pretty impressive. Thermaltake has always been quick to the gate for gaming and media PC chassis and the new itx standard is no exception. The Element Q series from Thermaltake has everything you need to get a good start on your next ITX build including the power supply! Let’s take a look:

Until recently all it took to be constituted a gaming headset was adding new plastic cowling and slapping a sticker on the headset that said “for gaming.”Sound engineers have been recruited and the quality has gone sky high. We are seeing very impressive audio come from inexpensive headsets that you cannot even get from a headphone of the same price. Steelseries is one such company pumping out high end quality headsets at a fraction of the price of the headphone equivalent. Today we will be looking at the Steelseries  Siberia V2 Pro Gaming Headset, and I will be telling you exactly how I feel about it:

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:i4wybK0RHcQINM:http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/upload/product/2963/intro1.jpgThere was a time when AMD reign supreme. The instant underdog when they came to market quickly gained popularity over the Intel Juggernaught; all good things must come to an end. This end came in the form or dual core technology, AMD quickly lost the mass fallowing it once had. For those of you that hung on and continued to be big supports of AMD we have the case for you! Cooler Master took one of their top selling cases and proverbially pimped it out so to speak for anyone who has a love for all things AMD with a little ATI sprinkled on top.  I for one was always an AMD fan boy but changes in technology made me change to Intel, we did meet with AMD at CES and they told us good things where coming and they sent us out the AMD Phenom II 965 BE for building a testing rig. So we promptly got in contact with the guys at Cooler Master to get a fully AMD themed rig together. Due to NDA agreements I cannot tell you exactly what AMD has in store but let me tell you it should make you AMD boy happy you stayed a fan through thick and thin. Let’s Check out the Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition:

Tattooed homicidal freak or square-jawed do-gooder? It's up to you how you play in Realtime Worlds' upcoming massively multiplayer online action game. Whether you're a hardened criminal or a crime-fighting enforcer, the world of APB will have plenty of options for adventure. The upcoming massively multiplayer online action game from Realtime Worlds is looking to make some significant changes to the MMO landscape, thanks to obsessive levels of character customization and a mission structure that is dependent not just on non-player characters, but on fellow real-life players. Realtime Worlds' Dave Jones gave a brief demo of the game during today's media briefing at the Epic booth on the floor of the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Written by Munk

Lead designer Ferret Baudoin explains Awakening's new skills, items, and story. Last year's Dragon Age: Origins told an epic fantasy tale of a world torn apart by both a monstrous invasion and a traitor's civil war. As a Grey Warden, your character defeated the threat of the evil darkspawn--the ugly monsters from the depths of Earth that threatened to overrun the kingdom--and reunited the shattered country. However, in Awakening, you find that the darkspawn threat hasn't ended--there are rumors of a darkspawn general who thinks, speaks, and organizes his forces into an army while spawning a whole new battalion of enemies. Lead designer Ferret Baudoin explains what to expect.

Xbox 360 | Limbo First Look PDF Print E-mail
Written by Munk
Friday, 12 March 2010 07:07

Limbo is a hostile place to be in as we gingerly try to find our way through this twisted world. Limbo is a concept that began six years ago and recently won awards for visual and technical excellence at the 2010 Game Developers Choice Awards. This striking black-and-white puzzle platformer is a tense and sometimes heart-pounding journey into a strange world where a young boy searches desperately for his sister. The game seems innocent enough at first, as you begin the game in a forest and the only sounds are the shuffling of your feet and the distant howl of the wind. The difficulty ramps up though, and the world is not as isolated as it seems.

If you've ever wanted to place bets on whether a minotaur could beat a stone golem in a fight, this is your chance. High Voltage Software has earned itself a bit of a reputation for developing distinctly noncasual titles for a console that has been made famous by that sort of game. Last year, the developer teamed up with Sega to release a sci-fi first-person shooter called The Conduit, and now it's at work on a mythology-focused fighting game called Tournament of Legends. Earlier today, we paid a visit to the High Voltage booth at GDC 2010 to see what this game is all about.
