http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:NOfKDJKGwC2tQM:http://www.quietpc.com/files/images/products/fd-definer2-large.jpgIf you are in the market for a new PC for a workspace chances are that bright LEDs and loud high RPM fans are not exactly what you are looking for. A lot of people would love to run their PC’s 100% passive but cannot afford to lose the cooling ability of fans. This is where Fractal Design Comes in with the new Define R2 Series Silent Chassis line. These cases are designed to be fully modular. If you need more airflow you will sacrifice a little sound dampening and in like manner if you need more silence you will lose some airflow. This is the first case I have ever seen that covers the front with sound dampening material so you can block out the sound from the ODD drives, this is a great case that has received some great reviews so let’s get into it and see it in action:

iFrogz CS40 Headphone Review PDF Print E-mail

Personally I have never heard a pair of earbuds that can compete with the full sound of a headphone. A few exceptions are the RE0’s, RE128’s and the V-Moda Vibe ii’s but even these high end earbud IEM’s can’t compete with the full bass and airy sound of headphones. Today we are going to be checking out the iFrogz CS40’s; every pair of headphones I have reviewed from iFrogz has been amazing. iFrogs quality to price ratio has always been amazing and I hope the same is true for the CS40’s because I have been reviewing nothing but earbuds and IEM’s lately and I have been wanting a comfortable set of headphones so let’s hope these are the ones. Let’s check them out:

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 Motherboard Review PDF Print E-mail

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:81wFr2EdCHSemM:http://www.hfinformatique.be/images/produits/5102.jpg Asus has been making quality components for a number of years. For some it has been the go to company for components because they are rock solid and always quality. A somewhat new technology Asus is focusing on is their Xtreme Phase technology. Unlike their competitors they decided to go with unique phase angles as opposed to they use double phase angles which are not as efficient. So what does this mean to you? Most problems with poorly design motherboards is the power efficiency and distribution. Poor quality power or the wrong voltages can send your motherboard into a tail spin, Asus knows this and that is why they included their Xtreme Phase technology on their latest motherboards, it is utilized by hardware switching; when the load is medium to heavy it activates all the phase banks, when your load is less it will scale down to 4 phase banks.  Asus is a pioneering force in board design because of their introduction of VRM technology and quality components to an already great board design. Today we will be looking at one of Asus’s Xtreme Design front runners: the Asus M4At85TD-V EVO Motherboard, coupled with the always welcome 785G Chipset for the AM3 platform. Let’s get a good look:

Xbox 360 | Dead to Rights: Retribution Updated Hands-On PDF Print E-mail

Bloody action and sneaky stealth are two highlights in our latest look at the upcoming action game reboot. Jack Slate's an angry dude, and you really don't want to be a bad guy in his path. He's a cop, but he's not the rotund kind that prefers doughnuts and a leisurely stroll around his neighborhood beat. Instead, Jack prefers punching bad guys in the mouth, shooting first and avoiding questions altogether, and shouting curse words as he snaps necks by the dozen. He's also got a dog by his side known as Shadow that's just as efficient a killing machine; together, they form the dynamic duo that is at the heart of Dead to Rights Retribution. This is Namco's upcoming reinvention of the original Dead to Rights, which was released in 2002.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:CfTx555vOtBdrM:http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41T6bwaTUzL.jpgWhen buying a PC the consensus from gamers was bigger is better; that changed when the mATX board started coming out. mATX cases were a lot lower in profile and still did everything you needed them to for casual gaming. Now with the new ITX standard and the ion chipset you are able to get playable frame rates on some popular games like Counter Strike and Team Fortress 2, which for its size is pretty impressive. Thermaltake has always been quick to the gate for gaming and media PC chassis and the new itx standard is no exception. The Element Q series from Thermaltake has everything you need to get a good start on your next ITX build including the power supply! Let’s take a look:

Black Box is bringing EA's long-running racing series to a PC near you. You'll soon be able to dive back into the world of Razor Callahan (among others) in the upcoming massively multiplayer online racing game Need for Speed: World from EA and developer Black Box. This is the first MMO racer from EA since 2001's Motor City Online and represents a different approach than that ill-fated game; it looks to take advantage of modern technology while it harks back to two of the most popular recent entries in the series.
